I'm having trouble with my Sullivans blower (3 years old) running hot!  I've cleaned the pull out filter, but after about 15 minutes of use, the hose is so hot you can barely hold on to it.  The cover over the front is the same way.  I've got the heat turned off the unit.

Any ideas?

is there a bearing going out in it?  something must be causing the heat.  how does it sound when it's running?  maybe the heat has a faulty switch and is not turning off even though it is in the off position...? maybe there's a fantasy breeder inside your blower? ???

Nope...sounds normal. I was wondering if there was other maintenance besides cleaning the filter.  It hasn't been used enough to be wore out.

Do you have it on the ground? Maybe around some dirt? That could be it  ???
