How to dye a black Simmental heifer?

I need help, any suggestions?

there are sorts of different dyes that you can use. I think sullivans has some. I think you can also use people dye, i don't remember the kind we used on our angus but all you really do is follow the instructions. Most of the time you just brush in the gunk and let it sit for 10-20 min. depends on the brand. It smells awful but it does work. Be careful and don't get it on your clothes. Does that answer your question at all?

Use black velvet or anyone from Sullivans.. mix into spray bottle, work into dry hair, wait 20 minutes,  and rinse.. its that easy

We have used the Black Velvet by Sullivan.  Is the heifer all black or is there any white?  We used a fogger to put it on and that works very well.  It blows it in deep.  You would want to dye the hair at least 1 week before your show. 

If you want to save money use the cheap revlon.  We used it a few times already and I think it works just as good as Sullivans.  Make sure you leave it in for a few minutes more than the bottle states.

agree, we took two types and blended together.  Not sure of the numbers but one has an asian lady and the other a hispanic lady.  Used sullivans a couple of times and ended up fighting flakes after.  May have been the way we applied it, but we did what the bottle said. 

I think we use Revlon from Walmart try to catch it on sale. Two boxes/mixes iin Mister Botte. Add dye and activator swirl/mix recomended amount of time. Add clean sheen to fill the mister bottle and and then use blower to blow it in. Usually have the heifer wet/clean first. Combed in and then wait 20-30 minutes and rinse out until water is clear. Mister bottle makes it a little easier but it is messy.

This is the correct way to mix the dye.  The Kleen Sheen eliminates the Flakey Skin.  But, I do recommend using a fogger to blow it in.  Put the left over dye mix in your spray bottle for "touch up" at the Shows.  I think dyeing  white hair was also mentioned.  You have to dye the white hair Brown first, and then Black.

Yes, if your going dye white hair you MUST do that. If you don't it'll turn out gray.
