He weighed in the low 70's I came out to do chores monday morning and he was laying there.  once he stood up he stated nursing in less than 2 minutes.  Momma dosent have a lot of milk but she has enough for now.  He was born 4 days early out of a heifer.

Tell me about it this is only my third ever calf crop and ive had 6 bulls and no heifers born.  But ive got three left to freshen this spring so my fingers are crossed.

Nice looking calf! Nothing better than a first calf heifer calving on her own!  :)
I wouldn't worry about a newborn toeing out (Muddy Creek)  ;)

I agree, didn't think he looked bad at all. Was more asking if he did then saying.  <beer>
