This year i would like to breed some cows to a purebred Maine Anjou bull or high percentage Maine Anjou bull. What is a bull that would work for easy calving (heifers)  but still have the show ring look? Also what bulls would work on big framed cows, but still easy birth weights and purebred maine or high percentage maine bull.

If you can find it, Ali really puts out some nice calves. Really good, low birth wheights and they grow into awesome steers. Here are some pictures of some Ali calves we had.

Though we are not promoting Montego Bay as an easy calving sire yet, we would sure like to see a few heifers bred to him. He has the makings of an heifer bull.  He had a 74# BW, and his full sister had a 65# BW.  You can get an early preview of Montego Bay's full sib at our open house on Oct. 2nd.

Take a hard look at Predator, and his first calf crop this year. A heifer calf sold for 31,000.

Two more bulls out of the same sire as Pedator are Catalyst & Gucci. They should have more marenal in them than alot of today's Maines IMO.

Majors Money Man...easy calving, quick to take off, and very marketable.  Heifers turn into tremendous cows, bulls are great, and I haven't pulled one in 3 years knock on wood!
