Importing/Exporting Embryo Question.

I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure whether the semen used in a flush for Canada has to be Canadian qualified semen? Or does the semen really make a difference when importing embryos from the US into Canada?

I believe it does have to be Canadian qualified.  A neighbor took a couple cows to South Dakota to be flushed and couldn't get the eggs back frozen.  He ended up putting them in recips down there then was able to bring the recips back to Canada.  This was a few years ago, something may have changed by now. 
This was discussed a little bit on here at one time,  JIT probably knows the low down on it.

Yes from what i understand the semen has to be CSS qualified.
