I really was interested in the new bull sired by Heat Wave named Leroy Brown and bought some semen on him and was planning on using him on a decent clean fronted charolais cow then I saw a picture of him in his working clothes and thought that he was very chuncky fronted but now I am thinking that my cow isnt clean fronted enough to put a good front on the progeny. I was wanting another opinion on him. Knowing that he is out of Heat Wave will he still put a nice front end on his progeny? What does everyone think of this mating. Thanks for any replies.

I don't think that you should second guess yourself. I'm sure that you put in alot of thought when you first planned the mating. I think that the mating may be real good.IMO.

I thought Leroy Brown was bad - (bad bad leroy brown) at least according to Jim Croce - but I don't think he was talking about the bull- I'm with CAB - sometimes we over think ourselves - and the beauty of the beef business is that we can eat our mistakes  ;D
