Thanks for all of the comments and support of our sale.  We felt for the second year this sale was unbelievable success and hopefully tells us these genetics are headed in the right direction.  Just to ellaboarate a little more on the results, the fall yearling bulls averaged $5100, Spring Yearlings $3067, and the heifers average $2002.  The bulls together averaged $4037 and made the average for the sale on 39 lots sold $3203.

Thanks Chandler for being the volume buyer, we certainly appreciate you make the long drive up to support the sale!  It was good to meet you in person and put a face with the name!

Congratulations on a successful sale. I really like the looks of Lot 13.
Chandler I think you have added a nice group of related females to your herd (thumbsup)

Without looking it up:  how did the calf sell from the super young dam, I forgot his lot number?
He was lot 12 and unfortunately, but not unexpectedly he did not get an opening bid.  He honestly probably didn't fit into the sale offering, yet still a calf I think has a lot of potential and eye appeal and one we will let grow up and probably offer private treaty as a two year old a year from now.

Absolutely! I am so pleased with my purchases the heifers are loving the wheat I put them on by the house.  They are extremely gentle - I can't wait to get them into production.  As much as I needed some sleep on Sunday, I woke up early and spent nearly the entire day out looking at em.  You guys have a class act operation going on up there and I assure you I will be back.  Thanks for having such a quality group of animals available and it was a pleasure meeting you and your family as well.

Thanks I really like the group I have.   4  of the 5 heifers I was able to get are half sisters sired by 7155 and 3 of those 4 are out of 23g daughters.  The 5th heifer is a real soggy made Prestige daughter that is more similar in type to the JPJxGolden Chain x KL breeding of my other females. I can't say enough about how much I like em.  It was a great experience- I was able to meet the Lovings,  Keith Lauer, both Ralph and Dan Larson, and I was able to take home some fine animals.  I couldn't have ask for a better Saturday!

The cattle looked great, Chandler that was a great set of heifers that you got.  I think you got the top three that I picked out.  Loved the 7155's!  cant wait till my heifers start calving this week.  The bulls were GREAT went to a angus sale the next day and the all of the bulls would have fit in the top 5% of the bulls by a long shot in ww, yw, imf, rea, bw, etc...  Truly a great herd of cattle down there in Pawnee Rock.

Ryan- Thanks again for the purchase and for posting the pictures of the heifers.  I am very glad to know you are happy with them and our family really appreciates your business and look forward to getting you back up to Kansas on a day that isn't as hectic.

Davis- Good to have you down for the weekend and the promotional work you did for us at KSU Cattlemen's Day, can't thank you enough.
