What does he work well with?  I have a second calf who made who/simmy heifer that I was thinking of breeding him to.  The heifer is sound and in a pretty package.  Do the cows need to be really deep bodied or heavily muscled.  With this breeding I would be hoping for a heifer but what kind of bulls/steers does he throw. Would like some info since his semen is on the expensive side.  I almost bought a maximus heifer a couple years ago out of an angus that was absolutly beautiful but the momma was a nutt case so I didn't.  I have been curious about him ever since.  Thanks!

That combo brings big money, it should work for you.

That is what I was thinking.  Does he typically add depth of body to cows of take away.  I guess that is my biggest question.  This heifer is deed sided but not a ground sow if you know what I mean.

We just had 6 Maximus calves born out of PB Angus 2nd calf cows. The calves are great but I would think they would be a little big for heifers. Just a guess but 5 of the 6 were in the 100# range.
