Hate to have more bad news but I actually got to read the SC today and noticed that Aldens are dispersing too.

Thats strange. I went to that dispersion in 93. Complete and total forever and ever blah blah.I wonder how much dividend semen will magically turn up this time.

don't know if it's the poses or what, but that guy sure puts the same shoulder and hip and belly on his cows.  pretty consistent looking set.  for so many trumps, they sure look different than the trumps i've seen in other catalogs.  also a lot of 57 and some dividend in there.

thanks sru, the other links said underconstruction

Where are you seeing LOTS, I went to the site and nothing about a catalog?
OHB, There is not a catalog yet. I got my info from someone who is involved with him & he gave me a rough run down. ;)

That is correct ,I was at that dispersal also. Robert bought some of the cattle back, his dad & brother got out. Because it was a family operation that was how they divided everything up.

Now this is strictly a shortie outsider view but....could some of these folks be dispersing due to the TH/PHA problem?? It seems I spoke with several shortie breeders in Denver the past few years and "It is no problem....all under control...." maybe the mountain was just too big to climb? and they see a downward spin?? and now dispersal after dispersal.....kinda makes ya go "huh"??

Are you sure Aldens are dispersing or is it the "Vision Group" that is having a dispersal in the Alden Sale?

sorry for the confusion,  since it's a "dispersal", the cows that are listed under cow families and embryo's would either be for sell or the embryo's, offspring from them as well as any not on viewable on the site, but will be through a catalog which is not available.

yes improver 57.

Well, the way I see it, Ron is teaching school, George is getting older, etc. Some things just happen that way. Don't think that TH has anything to do with it. It's just a chapter in their family history.
