I have a purebred simmental cow that I would like to breed to raise good slick shearing steers for the Texas shows. The cow is 7 years old, mod. to large frame big hipped and top, structurally sound, long bodied with a descent front end. She could use alittle more body to her and a cleaner neck. What are yalls opinion on using the following bulls to produce a good slick sheared steer?- Milkman, N-charge, Walks Alone, or Sahara

I just used Walks Alone on a similar cow and will have a calf by that mating in August.  Also, used Monopoly on several larger framed, simmi cows for October calves.  Never used Milkman but he ought to work and the char look is in.  I am interested in what others will suggest. May get some new ideas.

Thanks.Yea i thought about using monopoly but his semen has gotten expensive and thought maybe he would produce smaller framed calves.

Dunno, you couldn't have picked 4 more different bulls so to say they all will fit one cow with one goal in mind is doubtful. Honestly, I'd go Alias, Jimmy the Greek, something like that.
