I am also from WI and my two boys want to start showing.  I have never done it and have no idea what to do.  Is there any clinics going on soon?

That website said $125.

The clinic in association with the MN State Angus Sale is $100 registration deposit fee, with the balance of $125 due at the start...so a total of $225.  I believe there are open spots left, but details and contact info can be found here.... http://www.mn-angus.com/stierwaltclinic.html
