More new calves
« on: February 25, 2007, 05:57:12 PM »
These are 2 of the farms calves so far this year. Both are out of our herd bull that we raised. He is out of our red cow Rose & Easy (Elmo x Witch Doctor). Really nice looking calves so far.
Lacey, I took the white socked one for you!

She's another Jake baby. Commercail cow. The red & white one is out of a daughter of Mariah (Tank) & a Habanero son.

I wish I could find my digital camera!!! We've had 2 Hard Core's so far.  Both in the 70's weight wise.  Red bull calf and a black heifer.  Really liking what I'm seeing so far.  Not very big, but really square off the hip, and really nice legs so far.  If Red would quit hiding stuff in my shop (lol)I'd have pictures to share! lol

New baby this morning. wild Rose x Cowboy Cut. first calf she's had early. Little heifer.
Excuse the manure & mud, it's been very wet here. Hard to keep anything dry & clean

"justme" said I had to clarifiy something on the heifer. She isn't a little heifer. She weighed 120#. :P Cow did have her unassisted though, does that count for something? ::)

Well she doesn't look huge compared to the cow, so I suppose that oculd be part of why you didn't have problems.  She's a cutie...congrats  (cow)

I just love calves that seem to be natural's for the camera! Why do some just seem to pose?
