spot for houston barrow show in mid- march!
i’m a high school senior and this is my spot. i need opinions. my breeder isn’t much help with a ration or anything so i’m not real sure what to do. i’ve done good and won my classes at county before but that’s small and i’m trying to not get trailered at houston which is my only goal and need opinions to help keep him on track please. he gets 1 1/2 pounds of 2218 essential feed and 1/2 pound of showts per my breeder.  ANYTHING HELPS!!!

(I can email/snap/text VIDEOS of him walking. that’s where i think his biggest problems are but i’m not exactly sure)

Ok so first off not a bad little spot. Its still early for those Houston hogs to really be pushed they need to just coast right now till bout first of the year and then we usually start mixing things up.  It just looks to me from the picture that he might be a little straight in the back wheels.I'm not really familiar with essential feeds, so cant really give specifics on the feed. I am guessing that the feed is a 18% protein, I might lower that and go with a 16%.. and keep him on it for a while just to help soften him up.

If you would like you can pm me or you can email me at [email protected]
