There are several November steers here in Oklahoma, and our big show isn't until March. A growthy steer could make that if you leave him at home to grow during jackpot season.
Thanks shortdawg. That's the Hereford steer we (my kids) showed last spring. He was reserve Hereford at our county and 2nd in his class at OYE. He graded prime, and was a late October, btw. Wish I could say we raised him but we didn't - I can't tell you exactly how he was bred, but he wasn't AI sired.
