Has anyone seen this guy. Barry Nowatzke's new Herdsire, 474X. Looks like a cow changer type. Sooner x Boss Beauty 84M.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but I would have to see him walk. From the picture he looks to be pretty strait on both ends. Looks like he could use some more rib & be softened up some, and he looks to be a touch bold in the shoulder. Not anything new in the prdigree. I'm watching Barry's Gucci bull. I can get more excited about him if the calves look the part.JMO. I hope that the bull works well for PPL & the owners.

I saw a Gucci calf pictured on Top Sires sight last night. Didn't look bad at all, in fact I was pretty impressed.

I think he's plenty soft with adequate rib. Too Straight would also be my concern.

I'd like to see him,but I'll wait and see what others think and what the calves look like. As I've said B4, I'm not a huge fan when it comes to Sooner. It's just my thoughts on the picture. Time will tell. No hurry, there are a bunch of Sooner sons available.

I saw this bull at Barry's back before Thanksgiving, unclipped running in a lot with about 5 other bulls.  For a sooner, this guy is legit. He definitely does not need anymore rib, and is plenty good enough moving I thought. The day we were there, the ground was frozen and he was hitting his stride and was wide enough based when he moved while being flexible in his knee and hock.  I would say that yes, he does have a little shoulder, and is adequate enough in his length of neck, not freaky by any means.  Could be what the maine breed needs to add some softness to the more traditional long necked, harder doing cows.JMO

If I'm not mistaken, he is lot 133 on the Bright Lights Maine sale in Denver...guess we'll know soon enough what other people's thoughts are of him in the sale!
