It is hillarious when these anti wallstreet protestors are interviewed. Socialism sounds so wonderfull........if only it would work in the real world.

the most interesting comment i've heard so far is one of them said they don't want stuff for free, they just don't want to be billed for it.

sounds like some of the cattle non-payers.  i can't decided who complains the loudest.

Its to bad that Barrock didn't have any parental guidance. If he would have grown up in surrounding where chores were expected of him. If he would have grown up in the Midwest were a "work ethic" was taught. If he ever would have had to have a job. Meet a payroll. My god.....he was a community organizer. That is someone who tells people what to do. He has never "done" anything in his life. He tells other people what to do. There will be one sentence when historians write of his single term. He was the first half-blood african american president.

I googled "The 1968 national Democrat covention". One of the main footnotes dealt with "the Festival of Life" riots that occured there in Illinois during the convention. The American people saw this nonsense. The people voted in Nixon. These mamby pampy delinquents brought down the Democrats in 1968 and they will bring them down in 2012. Its amazing to watch. I'd like to see them ship about 500 of these rioters to a couple of feedlots I've worked in. There wouldn't be enough ambulances to haul these whiny little welps to the hospital.

Aj- So did you agree with the 800-billion-dollar-bailout Wallstreet and the banks received in 2008? I guess if I had to pick a side I would go with the pot smokers.  (lol)

Peachy, I dont think AJ is defending the bailouts, the protestors on wall street are a bunch of morons calling for collectivism, they should be protesting the federal reserve, that is the real problem

Totally agree with you, Bryan6807. There are protests against the Federal Reserve happening there but the media doesn't show that, they show the pot smokers to discredit the whole demonstration.

This is a progressive movement.  This is the progressive party trying to pit one class against the other.  If your buying it, then its working.

This link is an add for protesters on craigslist.  http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/gov/2618821815.html

"FIGHT TO HOLD WALLSTREET ACCOUNTABLE NOW! MAKE A DIFFERNENCE GET PAID!

The Working Families Party (WFP) (www.workingfamiliesparty.org) is New York's most energetic, independent and progressive political party. Formed in 1998 by a grassroots coalition of community organizations, neighborhood activists, and labor unions, we came together to build a society that works for all of us, not just Wall Street CEOs and the well-connected. WFP is independent from corporate and government funding and in-addition we are community based; community funded and equally uninfluenced by both major parties. Our agenda focuses on economic and social justice, corporate accountability, job creation, environmental protection, and investment in education and healthcare."

Do you know anyone that is progressive? has been a community organizer? seems to agree with labor unions and overlooks them breaking the law? supports far reaching socialistic programs? blames corporations? thinks the government can create jobs?  agrees with an overreaching EPA? and wants the government to control healthcare?  and has been quoted as supporting the occupy wall street movement?

Here is a hint..

Occupy Wall Street: Obama Voices Support - "It Expresses American Frustrations"

And yet have you seen this?

"Despite his rhetorical attacks on Wall Street, a study by the Sunlight Foundation’s Influence Project shows that President Barack Obama has received more money from Wall Street than any other politician over the past 20 years, including former President George W. Bush.  In 2008, Wall Street’s largesse accounted for 20 percent of Obama’s total take, according to Reuters.
When asked by The Daily Caller to comment about President Obama’s credibility when it comes to criticizing Wall Street, the White House declined to reply.
"

Am I saying that the bail outs were a good thing? Absolutely not!

What I am saying is that THIS movement is way more complex than it appears on face value.  http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/9269-big-soros-money-linked-to-occupy-wall-street

"Labor unions, communists, “community organizers,” socialists, and anti-capitalist agitators have all joined together to “Occupy Wall Street” and protest against “greed,” corporations, and bankers. But despite efforts to portray the movement as “leaderless” or “grassroots,” it is becoming obvious that there is much more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye.

Billionaire financier George Soros’ fingerprints, for example, have been all over the anti-Wall Street campaign from the very beginning. And this week, the infamous hedge-fund boss publicly announced his sympathy for the protesters and their complaints about bailouts — despite the fact that he lobbied for even greater unconstitutional handouts to bankers in 2009.

“Actually I can understand their sentiment, frankly,” he told reporters while announcing a large donation to the United Nations. “I can sympathize with their grievances.”

But Soros’ support for the protesters goes far beyond his tepid public statements. In fact, the original call to “Occupy Wall Street” came from the magazine AdBusters, an “anti-consumerist” publication financed by, among other sources, the Soros-funded Tides Foundation."

I am kind of a Homer but I think the USA has the bestsystem in the world. Capitalism. Its not perfect. The early coal miners were treated like dogs. They bought stuff at a company store. This wrong. In the USA you can be obese, own a car, and two tvs and live "in poverty". We have the cleanest enviroment, and best place to live in in the world. People are trying to break into this country. People risk their lives to get into this country. People swim oceans they cross deserts to get here. They pray that their child will be born here. Why do we want to change to a socialist country? Why? They interviewed about 5 people on the Wichita Ks station last night. One was on disability. One had been unemployed for two years. One was Mexican American who had been in the country 25 yeras( I don't remember whether it was legally or illlegally). One was a bearded guy who said he was in Nam in 69. And another bearded guy. I just hate to see our system dismantled.

Soros has bankrupt many countries. Its scary what this guy is capable of doing with his emense monetary power. He profited by 90 billion dollars when the US lost there global credit rating by 1 point back in mid 2011. Google him and see some of his doings, he cause his self a philanthropist, but i call him a greedy, ruthless powerseeker
