I bought a used tank with an inventory of some older and newer semen.  I know how to use most of the semen, but was wondering about 2 bulls.  GCC Cowboy Cut (ice pick x miss chill 6560)PHAC and BCSN About time (All about you) THC.  Just was wondering what these work on, or are they just hit and miss.

TTT.  Wondering if I should just use them on some pb angus or sim/angus for steers.

I had a cowboy cut son that I used for several years. He was out of an Angus cow. The bull I had was a tank. Cowboy cut is a paternal brother to Irish whiskey. Do not know anything on the other bull.

Girl down the road had me breed her really tiny frail made Gizmo cow to Cowboy Cut long time ago. That was the best calf that cow ever had. No hair but guts, butt and grew like heck. I mean this cow was 1100# max. Steer was close to 1600 at 15 months.

I was just talking to her other day and she asked me if I ever used any Cowboy Cut and I went home and looked him up and I will order some now to use on them frail goose fronted cows.

I spent a lot of time around Cowboy Cut as a bull and tons of his calves.  The bull was super moderate framed, big muscled, squatty, built like a tank as Rockin N mentioned.  He worked really well on those extreme old school show cows that need something to slow them down.  Heifers are to die for, I've owned half a dozen and had good success using them as clubby mommas.  They threw some good calves for me.  The cowboy cut steers were never my cup of tea though, not bad, but the heifers were where he really clicked.  I would use him on big cows that need to be downsized, but won't sacrifice muscling or width.  Or use him on some better females to make a rippin set of half blood replacements!  PM me if you need more details.

I appreciate the information!  I used him on a big maine/angus and large simmi/angus.  I am hoping for heifers.
