The market steer was bought out of the local sale barn, a "diamond in the rough" if you will. We have no dam or sire info on him. The heifer, she is a hairy bear out of a straight angus cow, she is home raised. the picture quality isn't the greatest because I took them with my phone. I would like to know what you think of them.

whatever the solid black one is. i love that one besides he/she looks a little bold shouldered. they first pic looks like a decent calf, most likely the salebarn calf if im not correct. he looks like a much better calf than most salebarn ones so you deserve credit for ending up with him.

thanks. the solid black is the heifer. we weighed her in as a market heifer but we did not implant her. i am pretty excited to see how she turns out. i may breed her and sell her as a bred heifer.

any ideas on who to breed her too. calving ease is a must. im not a fan of pulling calves. especially if the weather is anything like this next year!  :-\
