The market steer was bought out of the local sale barn, a "diamond in the rough" if you will. We have no dam or sire info on him. The heifer, she is a hairy bear out of a straight angus cow, she is home raised. the picture quality isn't the greatest because I took them with my phone. I would like to know what you think of them.

whatever the solid black one is. i love that one besides he/she looks a little bold shouldered. they first pic looks like a decent calf, most likely the salebarn calf if im not correct. he looks like a much better calf than most salebarn ones so you deserve credit for ending up with him.

thanks. the solid black is the heifer. we weighed her in as a market heifer but we did not implant her. i am pretty excited to see how she turns out. i may breed her and sell her as a bred heifer.

Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. Thomas A. Edison
