By Sue suggestion, was reading an old topic about Some herd sires from the past. Also an very interest topic for me as I love read and know about old times bulls and cattle.

So I would like ask some info about a Bull called Scotsdale Tradition that was sent to UK.

Also would like ask for exactly (names) bulls are pedigree fakes or what herds did it, so in UK as North America. Please, private messages if wish. I wish have this info as Im trying to select some accurated 100% genetics and wish not loose time with some mistakes from past times.

As Im historic matter Love, wish ask for people that can help me, if possible donate me old Shorthorn magazines, as old possible. Its very hard get it on internet and some times are reprints or wrong material. By private message or mail can support my postal address.

I have some old Shorthorn World magazines, some going back to 1952. I am not quite ready to give them up yet, but if I can be of some help I will try.

You'll have a hard time talking people out of their older memorabilia.

I've never cataloged them or even looked through them all, but I believe I have the majority of the US shorthorn magazines from the 40s, 50s, 60s, and early 70s. I've either misplaced or loaned out the box from the late 70s and 80s. The changes in the content of the magazines over time is very interesting. The fact they had enough content to publish on the 1st and 15th of the month back then compared to today's every two months, or whatever it is, is interesting as well. Nearly all the old magazines also had advertisements from pork associations as well as feed dealers and companies producing whatever the new tool or gizmo people were trying to sell farmers at the time.

I really wish there was an easy way to get them all online, but it'd take so many man hours I don't know anyone who has the time to do it.
