Pasture pictures

Here's two females I received as a bonus from work. The are commercial Angus cross. I AI'd them to SS Ebony Grand Master sexed heifer. I'm excited to get their calves on the ground next spring.

Good choice on the breeding.  Don't let people convince you that the Grandmaster calves are mediocre.  They come small, hearty and will come on eventually.  Some do appear to start slow, but give them time.  Great female maker and outcross to all of the Dream On blood.  We did the same thing last year and I got several outstanding 1/2 blood Angus / Grandmaster heifers this spring.  Particularly the New Design Angus bred cows really clicked with him.  Best heifers we have probably ever had.

I'm glad to hear some positive. I am trying to get some females and I have really like the heifers I have seen out of him.

Have you seen his new video? He looks really good as a 6 year old. His calves look even better. Some of our best calves have been Grandmaster. We really like what we get.

I did watch the video, it is pretty impressive. Any thoughts on the two females?

I prefer the more feminine look of the top cow to the second one.  And that bull is solid.  Get his tailhead on his backside and off the top of his back and hed be exceptional.
