Yeah I like to hunt alot.  We have people from all over call and ask us to hunt on our ground, but we only take a few people out.  If anyone is in east central IL and wants to go out, let me know and we can probably make it happen.

Bow season starts tomorrow and I'm pretty excited about that..there are some big ones taken around here every year.

I can't wait for deer and elk season.  Deer starts Saturday here and elk is only a couple weeks later.

Hunt lots in Texas + mountain states (WY and CO in particular).  Heading to Nebraska pheasant hunting right after Christmas.

I've hunted Pheasant in the metropolis of Olivet, SD before. That's the only time I've ever been and it was awesome. I love most any kind of wingshooting - dove, duck, quail, snipe, geese, or whatever that flies by that is a game bird.

Me too! But, my hunting is just about nonexistent.  Our Quail in eastern Okla disappeared about 1990; finally coming back, but not enough to hunt.  Grain crops and peanuts aren't planted around here anymore, so there is no more Dove junting.  The Turkeys are plentiful, but we only have a spring season; about the same time as the monsoons.  Duck and Goose are getting better, but my best watersheds have been sold to NO HUNTING folks.  I used to Pheasant hunt around Cimarron, KS every winter, but my buddy who lived up there moved to Colorado.  If anyone in Kansas/Nebraska has the land, and needs some ringnecks eliminated, just let me know.  If I can bring a buddy or two, I promise we'll do our best.  And to the SP junkies in NW OK, I hear the Quail hunting up your way is really good.  Anyone have a good dog, but need a hunting buddy?

I smell a SP hunting "get together" someday!  Pheasants and dove are great for groups.  We are spotty on doves where I'm at but something might could be worked out someday.  Anybody in pheasant country have any land or know anyone that does that would take hunters?  I imagine a lot of us would be willing to pay.

Pheasant Season don't start until the first weekend of November here in Nebraska. I know the numbers are WAY down. You used to see tons of them, but they just kind of disappeared. Now there are more quail than pheasants, but you have to know where to look for them.

I've been told by a reliable source that there are more pheasant than people in SD. I sure would help anyone defend the state if called upon  ;D.

AAOK, I've seen lots of ducks around the Glover's place. I told him next time I come I'm bringing the old Benelli.

If these claims about SD are true, I will make myself available to fight the Ring-Necked usurpers!  I'm pretty good with the ol 870 20 ga.

for me I just love to be out, if it is birds, dogs, deer, etc...  If it is brown it is down.  ;)

My favorite is ducks and geese.
