I have a biology project that is on Evoultion. What I want to d is pick a breed of cattle and talk about how it has changed or "evolved". Im not sure if she will go for it yet but I need to get started. What would be the best breed for me to use?

Any change in a breed of beef cattle over the past few centuries due to evolution would be neglible.  I would think almost all of it would be due to human selection.  How long would it take to change Chianinas from 72 inch tall all white animals to 52 inch tall black ones through evolution?  I don't think there would be any black Simmentals through evolultion, either.  Human selection pressure and the ever changing definition of some breeds would lead to the alterations.

Get the book "A Cows Life" by Montgomery - he is kind of annoying but there is a good chapter on the evolution of cattle from the aurochs (primordial ox AKA Bos primigenius) 10,000 years ago to the development of Bos taurus to the Angus breed - just looking at changes in Angus breed from development in the 1800s to today isn't really evolution.....never underestimate the intelligence of the teacher who assigns to topic ;)

i found some more.
What's
a comma should be after seriously and own the place, one after mistake, and there should be an and there too, one after next time, then  after question, then after anything.

i guess you don't care what you write like.

comically, it's a joke, lighten up and don't take yourself as seriously as you think i take myself.  if you would look at what you wrote, and that i actually did respond to the question, you might learn something, and some humor along the way.

ever hear of coelacanth, stickleback, hox genes?  you could compare their hox genes with cattle.

You have the opportunity to tackle the topic Evolution, and you choose Angus cattle??????

Consider taking the first eight chapters of Genesis in the Bible, and prove to your teacher that evolution is merely a word to represent a theory with no foundation.

How can you say that Evoultion has no foundation at all. Google Charles Darwin and then tell me how it doesnt. I am not saying that the bible is not right becuase I believe 100% that we are from Adam and Eve, but I do think that there is a lot of examples to back up the theory of evoultion.

If you go back a lot of Charles Darwins material was based on fiction. Pure simple fiction that many believed and it is now become what it is today, driven by a lot of false propaganda. The Bible has remained the same over many thousands of years, and one would tend to think that if nothing has changed in its story and most things have come true that there is a reason. Could be I find this hard to be coincidence, but I believe in it fully.
Evolution really has no theory due to the fact that it is based on one mans opinion of something he never saw.
The Bible was written by those who saw these things happen and predicted future events which have all come to be. Again, its hard to argue with facts versus fiction fueled by propaganda.
