We have used Rebel Soul now for 2 years. Heifers are as good as you will find. Good boned , soft ribbed, and good haired. The ideal replacement female type. Bull calves have been just alittle plainer made out of our cows. He might work better on some TH Carrier cows which we do not have. We have used Irish Whiskey on some of our donor cows and people stop by and ask if thats a Whiskey heifer and that one over is she a Whiskey and we have to say there Rebel Soul heifers. We had 7 Rebel Soul heifers this spring and averages in BW from 59 to 71 lbs. The 4 bulls calves had BW of 68 to 79. A friend saw Rebel Soul over at Tim Heckman's from Midwest Genetics who leased him for the spring breeding season. Said he was as impressive of a bull as he has seen, Big foot, big rib, and sound!

Thank you so much! Some of our cows are getting a bit old and we are considering breeding everything for replacement heifer production. We are thinking about using two bulls Rebel Soul and the Angus bull First-n-goal. We would like to retain all heifers and just ship the bull calves and not even worry about raising any show steers for one year. I have had my eye on the bull for some time and finally called Mike Weidner. Based on his comments it sounded like the bull we were looking for. By the way, his comments were very similar to yours. We need to change some of our cows quite a bit and if he breeds like he looks he will help us tremendously. Thanks again!
