I was looking at RedBulls beautiful pictures and thought I would put this out there for folks who like to look at old pictures.  It's neat because there are short pedigrees.
I find the archives to have better reading quality, but if you are really doing research, the biodiversity library often has the different editions of a book and the changes can be significant over several years.

you have to look around the page and find a view book or read online button. 

As an aside, I have read many places that the old breeders, especially the scotch, though roans were the best feeders and the best bulls.  Unfortunately, most of the customers importing to North America preferred red.
