Was wandering what people had for ideas on a round bale feeder that has less waste? I see that go bob has a hay conserver with a great money back deal. Has anyone tried these? Open to some ideas

These have been talked about before.

Hay-Mizer  http://www.haymizer.com/

Bextra http://www.lmp-lcc.com/content/bextra-bale-feeder

Franklin Cone Feeder http://www.franklinwaterers.com/bale.html

I use a Bextra and have seen the Hay Mizer in action at ISU.  Bextra dealer told me he has had producers test both the Bextra and the Franklon and most return to by another Bextra, but he wouldn't give an exact reason why.

Both the Bextra and the Hay-Mizer waste some hay, but not near as bad as a ring feeder.  Had there been a dealer close by I would have also considered the Go Bob pipe feeder.

I do know that Foremost http://www.for-most.com/ is working on a feeder and the guy designing it swears the hay bale needs to be off the ground to limit spoilage.
