Agreed. I guess I don't see an advantage for the added expense except knowing what will be born from the recip, but I would think an ultrasound would do the same.  I guess if you really don't have room or time to risk feeding a recip that carries a bull then it may be a viable option to try the sexed semen.  Sounds like the 5 ml Trans Ova collected semen may produce the best results, but, wow, that stuff can get expensive.

I think its 90% you'll get a heifer when using sexed semen. Dont quote me on that, thats just what I recall.

I think you are right..  it's no more than 90% for sure.
