I have a couple I 80 calves out of on shorthorn heifers that I would like to register. Do I need AI certificates or how does that work on the plus side?

I just registered some shorthorn plus calves sired by Angus bulls and didn't need A.I. certificates

I did the same 2 years ago now and didn't need any either. I don't know if the Angus breed still uses certs or not thoughlightnin4 said:

I would ask for the full pedigree or complete pedigree when papering the calf. You might pay a little extra but it offers a full pedigree without blanks. Proves you have mated two papered animals together. Often times it only requires a Reg # . Best of Luck
