IMO they picked an outstanding person for the position !! From a family with strong Shorthorn roots, down to earth ethics and a very sharp individual !! Couldn't be happier for her and the breed.

Congrats to Nancy!  I’ve know. Her since she was a kid and her and her family have always been strong Shorthorn promoters and good cattle people who made a living with the their cattle.

Congratulations to Nancy!  I am positive that she will do an excellent job in this position. This appears to be a trend lately, with the President of the Shorthorn societies in the US, Canada and the UK all being women. All three are very capable and I think it is about time this happened. The breed is in very good hands!
