Shot to make them come back in?

After they go out how long till you can give them a shot of lutayce? How much do you give them? and How long till they come back in so they can be bred?  I have done this but I forget, any help would be great.

they suggest 7 days, before that, there are no PGF2 allpha receptors on the CL.  i have heard of people doing it at 5 days however

There has to be a CL present for Lute to work.  You should wait 6 days after standing heat to give the shot although you can wait a few days later than that if it is better for your schedule.  The CL will eventually regress just before the cow would normally come in heat and giving the shot then would be too late.

how much do you give? she was in sat nite/ sun morn  she typically doesnt get rode, but she acts weird and rides everybody else. been waching her cycles for awhile.
