Looking for a heifer for my daughter to show at some fall jackpots and then our local show next January.  Prefer a young one - no specific breed.  Can anyone point me in the direction of a reputable breeder?  Thanks!

We have a 4 month old composite charolais for sale and we are located in central Texas. There are pictures on this forum posted of her. If you search composite charolais heifer it will come up. She is out of a charolais cross cow and a registered charolais bull. My 7 year old daughter has been leading her around and showed her at our county show. I can register her as a composite charolais.

The Hay Ranch in Marlin as some excellent heifers.  They just raised the Res. Maine Heifer at the Ft. Worth Jr Heifer Show.

Also, keep your eyes open for the next Bluebonnets & Buckles Sale put on by the Texas Maine Anjou Association.  The sale is planned for late April.

As I put more thought into this-- I will probably need something yet to be born this Spring.  My daughter showed a 10 mo. old Brahman heifer at our show last week, and will show her again next year.  We will then be looking for something younger than 1 yr. to keep them in different classes.  So, if you or someone you recommend will have some spring borns- please let me know.  I have been pleased with what I have seen so far via messaging.  Thanks!
