Has anyone had calves out of his full brothers?  I am wondering what kind of birthweights I could expect?  Would you feel comfortable using him on heifers?

Style is at the very upper end of heifer acceptable with  CED +7, BW EPD 2.4 and actual bw of 84 lbs.  This is what I expect for heifer acceptable Angus bulls, at least +7 CED, max bw epd 2.5 and max actual bw of 85.  Get a heifer with a history of BW behind her and you are asking for trouble.  Style is a good bull and should be used, but with his stats and his stoutness I would wait and see before using him on a heifer.

I have some El Capitan calves, awesome, the heifers are real feminine with alot of style, the steers are dead at 13 months ols and weighed a tick over 1300, very soggy good doin cattle.

They came small.

Here is the El Capitan heifer that we are showing. Very deep bodied, huge ribbed. It is a shame that El Capitan is off the  angus market.

I was going to use him on heifers but chickened out last minute.  I just figured that there were safer alternatives than using him with interim EPD's.
