I heard a Silvertowne heifer calf won grand in the purebred (STF Dominance x Caliente) and Morgan Phillips won SimAngus female.

I wrote down most class and division placings while watching the purebred show online.  Any specific placings you are interested in?

In the photos of the Grand % bull I see Dave Guyer, Brent Tolle and other names in the photo - what is that bull - pretty good looking critter!

*sigh*.. I have the NAILE photos, but you'll notice they still don't have the class postings.  And there are no names for the pictures.

I was interested in division champions and grand and reserve.  The cattle names... not the owners.  Thanks!

I didn't see a category for percentage simmy in the pictures.

My Bad - it is Open SimAngus - I just think about them being % simmy - apparently they made a mistake on reserve photo as it is another photo of the grand on that spot too -

I didn't see a photo of Dave GUyer in the simmi's. You have to post a link if you have one. Thanks.

Second question, I noticed on the females that she might have come from the Jones Sale in Harrod or their simmi donor?

His name is TWCC Trendsetter.  My cousin is one of the owners of him.  He is out of Ebony's Trademark and out of a 6807/Vortec cow.  He will be a 3 year old in the spring and  4 months ago was standing out in the pasture and had never had a halter on him.  Wonder if he will pass on that wonderful disposition?

So you are telling me that the Grand SimAngus bull is part Shorthorn?  Oh my!

Oh I just think that it is interesting that a Champion SimAngus bull is as much shorthorn, 25%, as he is Angus - you have to chuckle at that - good looking bull owned by some nice guys - was not aware that he had done so well - for a modest proposal perhaps they should stop showing by breeds at all and just put them all in together as there are no totally true breeds at all as all breeds are crossbreds anyway as we all know despite what it might say on some registration papers. ; ;)
