SS Ebony's Premium Blend

Anyone have calves out of this bull? I'm curious as to how he compares to his half brother, Grandmaster. I have looked at some other topics on here, but there wasn't much recent material. What type of cows does he work best on? Does he make showy, deep sided females? Thanks in advance!

I have never used him nor seen any calves by him, but I thought long and hard about him that's for sure. I did talk to the owner about him and how he compares to Grandmaster. He told me they were a little larger framed, not as deep flanked, but are stouter boned. The depth part surprises me, as how he is bred you would think he would throw plenty of body. I have talked to some Simmental breeders who really like the bull. I might try him next year.

Thanks for the reply! I got some semen a few months ago to use like Grandmaster on mature cows. How about his females for replacements? His numbers and especially his milk aren't too shabby. Anyone have daughters in production?
