steer feed

I have some young calves that are going to have a quite early slaughter date next year. they'll be just over a year or so. I want them a good weight but still sound and finished. They are still on the cow but eat grain individually morning and night. what should i begin to feed them and keep them on if im looking for a new feed ration?

My suggestion would be to work with your local mill for a finishing ration to put as much weight on as quick as you can.  We don't do pre-mixed feeds as we feed quiet a few head. If I was feeding to get them fatter put them on a 70/30 ration.
