Telos, I've always been intrigued by the concept, too. I was a little surprised at Denver having a market heifer division - not against it, just didn't expect it.
It (a market heifer show) has been tried at Oklahoma City, a couple of times if I remember correctly. It never generated much interest, less than 10 head each time. I don't see alot of promise for it in OK now, because we have a very well thriving commercial heifer division, as well as lower percentage divisions in all of the clubbier type breeds in our junior heifer shows. If for no other reason than the strong market steer show tradition, I don't see it taking ahold in Texas ( 'cause we all know how serious Texas takes it's traditions )... but that's just my opinion.
