She looks great in the picture. What are your plans with matching her up?

I would definitely breed her to monopoly or heat wave when she gets older.  She looks like she will make some awesome steers and market heifers.  Even some breeding heifers if you get her on the right bull.

flushing her 2 monopoly has been a thought, but for what it cost and what you can get it probably wouldnt be worth it.

If she's really that good, put an Angus bull with predictable genetics on her.. for more than just her first calf.. something to add a little more cushion off both ends, lengthen out that hip, keep some rib & add a shot of maternal to resulting heifers. Rodman has proven himself multiple times & seems to pass on 'the look'.  Darkhorse created quite the stir, as did Style. Or you could go with the 2011 NAILE & 2012 NWSS Champion, First Impression.

P.S. Before you knock the idea-- what's the pedigree of that one bull.. Heatwave X ANGUS?... oh yeah, Monopoly is his name.
Impossible as they may seem, you've got to fight for every dream, because who's to know which one you let go would have made you complete

putting the cart before the horse aren't ya?  In three years something better will be out-- why not wait until then?

I've never seen a truly dominant breeding animal in the show ring turn into something truly outstanding in the breeding pen...

I realize anything can happen, and it could just be a fluke, but we cut a 110# heifer out of a first calver, that was bred to Rodman.  Mama still hasn't stood.  I'm just saying these "surefire" calving ease Angus can have some trouble too.

coming from the dam.  she would have popped out a 200 pound calf from any other bull... Not to shabby if the bull reduced her BW in half?
