When was the last time anyone remembers filling show animals with beer? About 35 years ago I had a simmental X steer that always needed a little more fill. It took about eight twelve ounce bottles. After a couple of times he actually seemed to like it. He would open wide and let us pour it down! In the 50's and 60's some show strings would go through several cases on show day to get them looking right. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't go over very good these days.
