We are just starting to dabble in AI'ing our cows.  These are out of Supernatural and our mostly Angus heard (well crossbreds anyway).  We would like your opinion on these calves for my daughter in choosing for our county fair.  Anyone ever shown a market heifer?  The one pictured is a beauty....wish she was a steer!  Sorry about the poor pictures....hard to get them good in the pasture.

I do know that these calves are still very raw and may be a little coarse.

The 37 steer looks awful strait on his back wheels in the second picture, may just be the picture, if he is not he will make a decent calf, the 12 looks a little rougher plus he needs de-horned, the heifer looks good from the one picture you have, deep flanked, would like to a little more hip.
I say feed the steers and see how they turn out, either feed and show the heifer for market or test her and if she is clean, breed her to a calving ease bull the first year and see what kind of calves she produces, if she does a good job breed her cluby.
