He and boardwalk were the only club bulls added by ABS this year. There's a reason for that. Thriller looks like a BEAST!!! I said I'd never use an unproven bull, but if I had a couple open clubby cows, I'd be breeding to thriller and Eye Of The Storm.

We didn't get to the yards until after lunch so I missed him. My wife had a bad case of jetlag so we didn't stay too long on Sat. Thought I would run up with you out there but..... ? I was around the barn most all day on Sun. and Mon.

Dang, I got out of there just after lunch on Saturday, I had already been in Denver for like 10 days and it was time to get home (said the bank account haha).

Glover was sure really high on him and I'd say he sure knows a good one when he sees one. He's planning on having a smoke bull out there next year. I saw him at his place and he sure looks the part as a calf. Time will tell ?

No wonder I didn't see you then, thought you were still there.

Justin - I think I may have saw you in the pen of R A bulls that I was fitting in Denver after the sale. They had a social deal that evening. RW

I bet you did. The best brisket I've ever had, and some of the friendliest breeders I talked to in the yards.  Nice bulls too!

I may have to try that critter on something.  Just going off the pics, that is probably the best 09 bull that I've seen.

Did anyone get to see Thriller on the move?  I really like the looks of him but I never got a chance to see him walk.

I don't recall Thriller having that much leg hair or bone on display.  ???

I wish I had been out this year to see this one (and a couple of others). I have heard everything from he is the best one that has been there in several years, to one buddy telling me that if Tracy hadn't clipped him that ppl wouldn't even have noticed him. He looks really good in the pic and the video, and I have heard that he was one of only a couple that were clubby looking and nearly right sized. The two most credible sources that I have talked to did both say that they liked him much better on Friday and that he was melting a little on Saturday, but that is to be expected. The mixed reviews remind me a lot of another Goretska bull in Denver, Sunseeker. Seems that ppl loved or hated that one. Also, have heard everything from next great one to stay far far away on Salty Dog as well. Guess I should have gone...or better yet I'll just look them up at stud
