I might be very helpful regarding your question, but we have a steer out of One and Only that is very nice.  He probably has the most muscle of any calf my kids have shown.  Another strong feature is he has an extremely clean front end.  Not sure if these characteristics came from sire or dam, but I am very impressed.  The individual that raised the calf, bred the same cow to One and Only again and her new calf is supposedly even better.

Have had 4 One and Only calves the past 2 years and have liked them all.  We sold 2 steers out of him and kept 2 replacement heifers that are now bred.  I think originally everyone was afraid the One and Only calves were going to be too tall and definitely dont think that is the case anymore.  None of ours finished too tall, but they have all gone through stages like that.  I have actually heard the same thing about Thriller calves getting too leggy, but have never used him.

We have two Thriller calves due any day.  Doesn't help you if your buying semen now but I can let you know how everything goes.  One is out of a full blood Shorthorn and the other will be out of a Johhny Walker Red X Santa Gertrudis..
