Time to start halter breaking the smokey heifer

Here are some pics of my 7 yr old and his cloverbud project.  We are a little late getting her started on the halter, but her dispostion is good, so are hoping for the best.

She looks like an awesome project.  Hopefully she will be part of the herd for a long time.

If she is anything like her dam and both granddams she should be a mainstay in someone's herd for many years.

thanks for posting this picture! Sometimes people forget looking at all of the winners pictures and dollar figures on calves that this is ALL FOR THE KIDS. This industry teaches our kids more than any other and we will never see them in those videos making grandmothers cry on a school bus.

Best of luck, I hope his heifer cooperates and he does his best!
