I just attended a beef repro conference and they reccomended the 7 day Co synch + CiDR for cows.  They said for heifers the longer protocols are more successful.  (14 day CiDR + Prostaglandin).  Look in the back of semen catalogs for a reference of the actual protocols.

I'm Time AIing all my cows this year for the first time. Gonna use the Co-Synch CIDR protocol. Have been told results from first AI can range from 50-60% bred. Very excited about trying it.

used a protocol this year where you put CIDR and GNRH in on day one and five days later you pulled the CIDR and gave Estrumate.  Then 8 hours later you gave another Estrumate injection.  You bred on time 72 hours after pulling the cidr.  Didn't use it on alot of head, but it worked well on the handful I did use it on.

I use a 3 shot/10 day progam on a few cows and heifers every year with good success.  On day 0 use Cysterelyn, day 7 use estrumate, day 9 cysterelyn and breed 16-20 hours after the last needle.
