To early for Denver Display Bulls?
« on: January 08, 2019, 11:33:13 AM »
I haven't seen anything from the big players about the display bulls they are bringing to Denver.  Is it to early to announce or did I just miss them somewhere.

There was kind of a blurp about a bull that Wade is going to be displaying @ NWSS this year. He's a Maternal Made X Broker X Lookout. Raised by Mark Ball. Blaze faced and white from sheath back. Mark sold full sib embryos on his last sale not too long ago is how I saw him and had heard about the bull earlier on.

There are plenty up now. Would love to know what ppl think of some of the bulls this weekend.
It's suppose to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great.

Those were good, sure do miss those. Now have to hope that someone just happens to take a picture or something and post it.

Duello bred. Lautner purchase. This one is hard to top IMO. Think he'll be Iconic.

Okay I never judged or had any training in it but many have told me an animal should "float" when they walk, meaning walk with ease and not bounce their head, spine, or rear if they are sound.  Icon looks really cool and has a lot of interesting traits to me, but he appears to struggle or at least not float when he walks.  Duello has forgotten more about cattle than I'll ever know, but is this really the best bull he has ever seen or is it because he raised him?  Not bashing, just asking.

I think the last thing this bull does is struggle on the move. He appears to be extremely athletic and moves freely and with authority. That is perhaps one of his best traits. You'd be hard press to find a bull with that much mass to move better.

https://youtu.be/yxsyknQgog0  //// I like that video much better-Its in proportion where you can tell more what he is-The first video makes him look exceedingly stout-but like a pud-If he will keep growing hes gonna really be something O0
