We finally finished our second I am Angus video, and it was debuted in Louisville. This is one of the segments. Whoever these food and agriculture so called specialists think they are should listen to the message that real farmers and ranchers have.

"we don't just do this for the money"

I think what she is saying is what a lot of us believe. we need to make money at this to stay in business, but there are many other reasons why we have all stuck with farming and the cattle business. Let's face it, if it was all about the money I could find a lot of 9-5, less stressful jobs.

I think what she was trying to say is they don't just do it for the money, because if all they wanted was money I'm sure they could sell the land off and live very comfortable for a long while.  They do it because there is something special about this lifestyle.  It's not something you can just wake up and say you want to do and become successful at it.  It takes a lot of time, money and education.  I take a lot of pride in knowing that I'm the  5th generation keeping on this legacy.
