When I was in England and Scotland I attended several livestock shows. Very very different than the shows here. Regardless of breed there was no fluffing. Sullivans would have been broke long ago, and laughed at for selling "beauty products for cows." And the exhibitors wore dress clothes with a white coat over them. No butt cracks showing, no bra straps showing, no clevage showing, no underwear showing. As one belgium blue breeder told me as he was slick shearing his bull, "we are here to exhibit the best of the best in our breeds. We are not here to see who has the most money, or put on exhibition anything but livestock." I am guess this breeder was 40-45 years old. It was evident to me that the highlight of their shows was the livestock.
If anyone has the opportunity to attend a show over there, I would highly recommend it!
