Really? Is all I really have to say to this level of immaturity... Just because someone thinks you promote to many bulls and because someone doesn't believe that having Monopoly makes you the biggest and baddest thing of all time doesn't mean you have to stoop to this level of immaturity...

...and if he turns out to be a great one, no one will whine about it :/ honestly guys theres really got to be better things to worry about then this, no one is arguing that your words where taken out of context but, that happens in anything. I for one will buy the semen on bulls I like regardless of who owns them, I don't care about their bottom line, I care about my own. Lets just hope my monopoly's, eye Candy's, and BIM baby's don't fight this much yeash...

I dont see what the big deal is.  This is all part of a little game called marketing, and there are many, many very well known people in this industry that will tell you that when it comes to bulls and semen, Matt Lautner is a marketing genius.  Are Lautner's bulls just absolute God sends compared to other people's bulls? Absolutely not.  So why then do they get used so much more and have so much more offspring? Simple, Matt Lautner out markets everyone else out there hands down.  I am not gonna sit here and say that I love Walkie Talkie, I dont hate him as much as some, but I will definately agree that there were much better promotional bulls out there this year in my opinion.  And its nothing against Lautner, I love some of his bulls I hate some of his bulls, but I will say I dont think the bulls he brought to Denver this year lived up to the hype.  That being said, I think he is promoting some new bulls this year that were not in Denver to my knowledge, and I think there are some of those bulls that will work very nicely for me.  I am not going to trash Walkie Talkie, he is a very young bull so all we have to go on is what he himself looks like, which I dont think is very impressive, but at the same time I will say that if all I had to go on was the bulls looks alone I most likely would have never used Heatwave, I personally dont like the way Heatwave is put together at all.  but what changed the game for him in my book was the fact that you cant argue that he will flat out produce a great one, Walkie Talkie may end up the same way for all we know.  But I can tell you that he will get more of a chance than many other bulls because he has Lautner promoting him.
I dont think you need to get your panties bunched over those posts on the blog.  I am sure it probably isnt anything personal on Matt's level, the thing is there are so many people that talk crap about Lautner and his bulls that he would have gone nuts by now if he let it get to him everytime.  What you did was post something that he was able to edit around and use as a great marketing scheme, and that ability to market and do things like that is largely responsible for Matt Lautner being where he is today.

Really?  You're going to get upset over this?  You made the statement in your post. Their use of your words is no different than lots of other news feeds twisting someones words, or do you believe everything you see on TV, or read in printed media?  You just gave them a little more fuel for their Walkie Talkie fire, and they ran with it.  No harm, no foul.

That was about a week ago and when I look at it I realize I was completely over reacting...
I never dissed on Matt, his cattle, or his blog.  What I have a problem with is that he is promoted like a legend.  Walkie Talkie is the third or fourth best bull for him this year, hands down, but like a previous poster said, all we have to judge him on is his phenotype.  Right in their catalog it said "Hands down the most popular cow changer in denver 2012!"  How can he be a cow changer when he wasn't even collecting at the time of the catalog release!  I did over react, but everyone must see the little bit of truth behind my madness.  I just don't think I would use a rookie bull, but if you buy into a phenotype and marketing skills, that is sheerly your choice.
