Pistol Pete
bodybuilder

if willing to use Ali ... Striker, Maybe BPF comfort Zone

the list looks pretty short... what are you guys using?... for salability needs to be a known bull

Rodgers new bull frisky whiskey, ik he isn't proven calving ease yet but we will see. I think he also has a shot of Ali on the dams side but that wouldnt bother me. Top sires bull Gucci would be a good candidate too. He is an outcross, fairly well known.

Direct Whiskey is what we have found for an outcross to ALL the Ali or Who Made Who genetics that are available on the market. He is a double clean Irish Whiskey son out of a Direct Hit cow and has a 65lb BW. Breeders like Kris Black, Brent Tolle, Nick Reimann and many others have been getting calves and love them so far no reports of anything born over 75 lbs! Whiskey genetics are hard to find in a PHA free package let alone calving ease so we see him really becoming popular with the abundance of I-80 first calf heifers out there to breed. Check out Trausch Farms sire directory or the blog for info!

At this years Ohio Beef Expo he was Trausch Farms highest grossing bull in sales and it was due to breeders looking for something to breed I-80 hfrs to.

I went to the Maine Association's web site to look up Direct Whiskey and didn't find anything I even used the registration number off of the add and it brought up a bull that was out of Direct Hit and an Irish Whiskey daughter.  I used Gucci this past year on a Bojo heifer and had a 77 pound heifer that I think is going to be really good.

Both the AMAA and ACA registration numbers have a bull listed as a Direct Hit out of an Irish Whiskey cow.  The also have two different birth dates?  If this is the same bull as in the ad, the ad has a different birth date as well.

The reason you are not finding direct whiskey his registered name is NDSC/MT SHOOTING STAR . I have daughters that are calving now seem like nice feamales I leased the bull for two years. In the two years I have not had a big one yet .
