Around 50% cut out around the Enid, OK area. Ablout 2-3 weeks ahead of normal. With the exception of a few areas that received hail, excellent test weights and yields. I've heard of weights up to 64#, and one guy cut a quarter that he had grazed until March 1st, that made 79 bushels per acre. These guys needed it with the way the drought was last year. The only negative that I can see is the wheat being down in alot of places. Lots of straw.

Encouraging news. Up until the last week we've had a VERY dry spring.  I was last out a week ago and cut some samples.  The bottom of the stem was still green as could be.  Last fall was exceptionally long, so the wheat got some good height before a freeze.  We were actually kind of worried that it would head out, luckily some frosts came.  Should be lots of straw hopefully!  We typically harvest around July 15-25 ish and we look like we're right on target for July 15.

Combines starting to role in central Illinois. My dad says this is the only time in his lifetime that he remembers wheat cut in May! No reports on yield but April frost damaged some up to 40 percent.

Here in NC wheat and oats have been ready about 4 days but we can't get a dry enough patch to get in the field. Lots of rain. Hopefully it'll dry out soon.
