Thought I would share a few photos I took today while heat checking.
The first photo is a few of our spring calves. We seem to put white on the belly just fine, just can not seem to get it on the face! I just love being able to walk out to the pasture and they are all just sleeping away...
The second photo is a two week old Club King embryo calf. I purchased these embryos from Jeff Miller, and this heifer is out of his Dream On donor, the dam to the bull he sold at The One in Denver and many others. We are real excited for her, and she has the sweetest personality!
Here is another really sweet heifer. She is just a few days old, but will walk right up to you in pasture and want you to scratch her chin! She is sired by Movin Forward, and I am proud to say she is four generations deep of bred and owned animals! Her dam is laying next to her, and is just a two year old this week. She is an Amigo out of a first calf heifer herself!
The last photo is a month old bull calf. His brother is the steer my daughter showed last year and won a bunch with. He is sired by the bull in my avatar. Not the best picture of him, but he is stout and a purebred simm. The dark red calf sleeping in the first photo is his belly, notice all the white on his belly!!!!
Just thought I would share!
