In this time of talk radio, message boards, and what not, who do you like to listen to for information, guidance and whatever. It could be politics, cooking, showing cattle or whatever.  I like to listen to Mike Rosen of KOA radio fame(denver). He is left of center on social issues and a supply sider on economic issues. He has like a three hour program in mornings. I also think Bill Oreilly is good. For genetic defects dl is my hero. How about a cattle breeder you looked up to. Joe Lewis, Bob Dickenson, whatever. Please chime in.

Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, O'Reilly

Joe Lewis is one of the icons for sure...    Walter too for that matter..    Brings back great memories for me!

I'll probably come up with a few more as I think on this..

If you limit the anwer to media people, I would include Bill O'Reilly, Dave Ramsey, and Dr. Charles Stanley.  There are too many cattle people to list that I enjoy talking to.  Maybe I enjoy making friends more than money.

;D  Okay, don't laugh...I love Nancy Grace.  She really lets those lawyers and defense attorneys on her show have it.  She can be downright CRUEL, but I think she is the best.  My husband thinks that she is a real WITCH!!

Well AJ, I think you know what I think of Joe Lewis. He was one cool cattle person. I grew up showing cattle and Joe was the person that all us kids hung out with. I am now 57. He would often bring his string to the Okla. and Tulsa State Fair and he just loved the kids or so it seemed. I was always asking him questions about feeding and grooming tips and he was always willing to take the time and help. His death was tragic and I miss him to this day.

For the last several months I've been listening to the BBC Radio Broadcast driving to and from work. It is entertaining and informative with  interesting interviews.

Bill O'Reilly along with Lou Dobbs are some of my favorites. I voted for McCain and started watching FOX but now I'm tuning back in on CNN for the most part. If things get any worse I might have to go cold turkey and not listen to the news.

I'm starting to accept Obama as president and feel he might make a great one. So far I like the team he has chosen.

I've watched Nancy Grace a couple times and she's not bad. I like Greta on fox also. "That woman" on (I think msnbc) I think is hot. Short hair always blastin the right. She just has a look and attitude. She opposisite of O'reily or Hannity I think. Also years ago the 760 Denver station had a woman on(left winger) I always liked. She was black, married to a white guy and her dad was one of the Tuggeeskee airman during WW two. I can't remember her name. One thing I like about Rosen is that he likes to debate and argue with callers. He has like a 125 IQ is a economics guy, spent time with the pentegon, was stationed in Germany I think during the cold war, was in Nixons campaign, grew up in Brooklyn, Mickey Mantle was his hero, loved Regans economic policy, and thinks soft drugs should be legalized. Very interesting guy.  I know Twig was mentioned. He has done alot for the breed and the industry, very personable.

Matt Davidson from Husker Talk. He isn't afraid to say the truth, and puts it like it is. Plus he's hilarious to listen too.  ;D
